satisfactory stay with some issues
slow check-in outdated room
The hotel is near fortress hill mtr station. That was convenient.
The check-in process took longer than expected. I waited at least twenty minutes. the room i was assigned felt outdated. The hotel needs refurbishment to bring it up to standard. noise was also an issue. I could clearly hear neighbors.

broken coffee machine slow check-in
The coffee machine in my room was broken. it leaked water over the electric outlets and the staff did not seem to care! check-in was also slow because only two staff members were at the desks. I view this as management failure.

clean room convenient location attentive staff
the room was impeccably clean. the hotel's location is convenient. i especially loved the really good service in the chinese restaurant. The staff were polite and attentive.

excellent stay with excellent service
detailed instructions island views attentive service mtr distance
i stayed two nights during connecting flights. the receptionist, maria, provided a perfect room. she gave written highlights with detailed instructions for island navigation. the hotel offered island views, good food, and attentive service. the mtr was not too far away.
i found a minor inconvenience related to local calls. i had already checked in and paid in full, but i could not make local calls directly. instead i had to go through the front desk. they stated a deposit was necessary.

The concierge team efficiently booked tours. they answered questions. they ensured my stay was nice. maria at reception offered excellent data to move around the area. The hotel is great.
